Quick start
Formulas & variants
A formula is an effect — Chrome, Fire, Rhinestone, and so on — grouped by family (Paint, Metal, Fire, Specialty, Combos). A variant is a ready-made look inside that formula. Pick a variant to get close fast, then adjust the sliders. Click the active variant again to collapse the list.
Made something you love? Hit + SAVE to store it as your own variant.
Your text
Type in the Specimen box at the top. In the Specimen panel you can switch the source between Text and Image, choose a Typeface (each one previews in the dropdown), and set Size, Tracking (letter spacing), and a base Color.
The Suggested Typefaces panel shows faces hand-picked to suit the current formula — a great place to start. You can collapse it if you want more room.
Parameters
Every control on the right reshapes the effect. Nothing is permanent — drag freely and experiment. Use Reset to Default at the bottom to return a formula to its original look. Your tweaks are remembered as you move between formulas.
Live Effect
Click ✦ LIVE EFFECT, then move your mouse over the canvas — a green light follows your cursor and reshapes the effect in real time. As a rule of thumb, up and to the right makes it wilder; down and left calms it down. Toggle it off to bake in the look you landed on (it won't snap back). Great for happy accidents.
3D extrusion
Some formulas (Chrome, Y2K, Ice Shop, Extrude, Chrome Fire) have a 3D Extrusion toggle. Turn it on and the letters grow real dimensional depth, with extra controls for depth, angle, taper and more.
Warp
The Warp control curves your text — try Arch with the Bend slider for a classic logo curve. Warp is kept separate for Text vs Image, so switching source modes keeps each one's own shape.
Combos
Formulas in the Combos group layer two effects at once — for example Chrome Fire puts chrome lettering in front of real flames. They expose controls for both halves, and the variants restyle the whole thing (chrome color included).
Backgrounds
Set a Background color, or choose the transparent (checkerboard) option to export a clean cut-out PNG you can drop onto mockups, tees, or any artwork.
Exporting & print quality
Choose your output size at the top, give the file a name, then hit EXTRACT. Free exports come out at web resolution — perfect for screens and social. Members unlock 300 DPI print-ready files with extra-clean, anti-aliased edges, sized for real printing.
Unlock print exports
Free exports are web resolution. A one-time GFXWRLD Lab purchase permanently unlocks 300 DPI print-ready exports for your email — no subscription, no recurring fees.
