Quick start
Effects & presets
An effect is a style — Chrome, Fire, Rhinestone, and so on — grouped by family (Paint, Metal, Fire, Specialty, Combos). A preset is a ready-made look inside that effect. Pick a preset to get close fast, then adjust the sliders. Click the active preset again to collapse the list.
Made something you love? Hit + SAVE to store it as your own preset.
Your text
Type in the Specimen box at the top. In the Specimen panel you can switch the source between Text and Image, choose a Font (each one previews in the dropdown), and set Size, Letter Spacing, and a base Color. Working with a logo? Switch to Image and upload — or just drag any image straight onto the canvas.
The Suggested Fonts panel shows faces hand-picked to suit the current effect — a great place to start. You can collapse it if you want more room.
Parameters
Every control on the right reshapes the effect. Nothing is permanent — drag freely and experiment. Use Reset to Default at the bottom to return an effect to its original look. Your tweaks are remembered as you move between effects.
Live Effect
Click ✦ LIVE EFFECT, then move your mouse over the canvas — a green light follows your cursor and reshapes the effect in real time. As a rule of thumb, up and to the right makes it wilder; down and left calms it down. Toggle it off to bake in the look you landed on (it won't snap back). Great for happy accidents.
3D extrusion
Some effects (Chrome, Y2K, Ice Shop, Extrude, Chrome Fire) have a 3D Extrusion toggle. Turn it on and the letters grow real dimensional depth, with extra controls for depth, angle, taper and more.
Warp
The Warp control curves your text — try Arch with the Bend slider for a classic logo curve. Warp is kept separate for Text vs Image, so switching source modes keeps each one's own shape.
Combos
Effects in the Combos group layer two effects at once — for example Chrome Fire puts chrome lettering in front of real flames. They expose controls for both halves, and the presets restyle the whole thing (chrome color included).
Backgrounds
Pick a solid Background — White, Black or Slate — or choose Transparent (it shows as a checkerboard on the canvas) to export a clean cut-out PNG you can drop onto mockups, tees, or any artwork.
Exporting & print quality
Choose your output size at the top, give the file a name, then hit EXTRACT. Free exports come out at web resolution — perfect for screens and social. Members unlock 300 DPI print-ready files with extra-clean, anti-aliased edges, sized for real printing.
Unlock print exports
Free exports are web resolution. A one-time GFXWRLD Lab purchase permanently unlocks 300 DPI print-ready exports for your email — no subscription, no recurring fees.
How to unlock:
After you purchase
Still seeing web resolution? Give it a minute to register after checkout, and double-check you signed in with the purchase email. Wrong email or still stuck? Just reply to your order confirmation and we'll sort it out.
Accounts
Click Sign in (top-right) and enter your email — we send a one-time link, so there's no password to remember. Open the email, click the link, and you're in. Your sign-in carries over each time you come back.
Your access is tied to your email, so always sign in with the same email you purchased with — that's what unlocks 300 DPI exports. Bought already but still seeing web resolution? Make sure you're signed in with the purchase email; the unlock can take a minute to register after checkout.
Tips
Quick start
Type your text or drop a logo, then it's extruded into real 3D. Pick a material and fill, orbit the camera to frame it, and export a still or a spinning loop.
Extrude & bevel
Dial the extrusion depth and bevel to go from flat to chunky chrome. Add an inset face and a letter stroke for layered, dimensional lettering.
Materials & icy fills
Choose a material (chrome, metal, glass) and tune reflection & roughness, or drop in an icy/diamond fill texture for that iced-out look.
Camera & light
Orbit, roll, and set the camera angle; add glow and reflections. Drag in the viewport to spin it however you like.
Export
Extract a high-res PNG, or an animated GIF of the logo spinning — ready for socials and drops.
